sonic, my usual wait is 2 days, once as many as 5. Definitely too slow, absolutely frustrating, but that's how it'll go as long as the admins insist they don't need any more people moderating uploads.

Still waiting for additional comment....thumbs up, or thumbs down.

Often, works 'can' be delayed due to waiting for 'second opinions'.
It's not specifically a factor of the number of Moderators, but more a consensus of opinion...

Jafo, maybe you guys should consider going to a system where each moderator can thumbs up/down on your own.

We do...if a skin/wall is particularly good or particularly bad [as in copyright/porn/etc] it gets pretty quick response.
Others need 'convincing' to keep or to cull...

You can always upload to any of many instant gratification wallpaper libraries.

That's clear enough for me!
Sometimes it takes a while, and other times it can seem like forever..
Patience is the key.

Logons have a few particular concerns.
Quite often they are created from walls or artwork that does not belong to the person submitting and are therefore copyright issues, just as with walls themselves.
Also, Logons 'tend' to look 'better' if the top and bottom 'bars' are integrated into the overall image, rather than remaining a separate stripe of disparate colour.

Often the User Logon 'window' tends to just 'sit there' with no integration/connection with its background...as if the only image 'altered' was the background.

Remember, a Logon is a 'skin', not just a 'wall'...[it has more than one image]...

Here's a solution: Don't upload wallpapers. We get a ton of them and they have to be looked at. Sothey get backed up.

And if you upload a logon, it's going to take longer to get moderated i it's more of a wallpaper than a logon.
