Hows this. If you have downloaded the trial version of windowblinds, then downloaded a windowblind skin using the right click method and save target as, them double click on the WBA file and it will load it into the program. Then right click on your desktop and go to appearence and select it and say apply and ok. Do you have any idea how many times this has been typed?

Well, you're NOT going to get it to work in Classic mode.
Have you downloaded and installed the WindowBlinds program?

lexezgama-- wasn't trying to be rude, but most of these type of questions get asked 3-4 times a day. Thats one reason the koasati faq was made, to try and answer the questions that are commonly asked. Glad you got it fixed. Hope you enjoy it.

You could have found the answer in the HELP file in WindowBlinds.

Let's set the record straight here.......... you ask a question, WOM provided a link where you could have found the answer (Question12), but instead of looking you replied with "oh thank you that helped a whoooooooole lot NOT "......
who is the rude person?
I have little patience with people, that refuse to even look for an answer. I put the faq together to help, not to force you to read (heaven forbid) we all know reading will make you stupid. But you're gone now, and not reading this, are you..............

First time I've been accused of being rude trying to help someone.

I think, some people don't have to be understood... I just wanted to give a link to the faq bit holded when I saw that it was alredy posted. So I got away just in time.

I've always found being cranky to people who respond trying to help really goes a long way to getting what you want. And not reading help files or any FAQ's is another way to rapidly learn a new program. Then although the vendor may have product support newsgroups (usually linked to on the vendor's site) I'll never look at them before or when tryng a product to see what problems people may have or what tips may be helpful to know. I'll just post at a discussion board which is not the vendor's product support forum and tell people off if they aren't helping me in the way I think I should be helped ie, without having to read something. (I favor American sign language meself.)

"all you had to do was tell me to bug off or whatever you didnt have to be rude..."

OK then, bug off. (Does this mean I'm out a potential $20? Dang!)

hehe Koasati!
What? you expect ppl to read all the way to Question #12! are you crazy they just want the thing to work I told you! hehe
me has a hard time reading I'd rather take the lazy route and ask for a straight line to the answer I'm looking for & skip the reading so I can relate, but sooner or later you end up having to read to get your answers sometimes

I suggest you go out to the living room, turn on the telly, and forget about your computer completely. Thank you

With the advent of main-stream skinning popularity you get the impatient quick-fix people who will DEMAND YOU FIX THEIR DAMN COMPUTER OR ELSE!!!!

Back in skinning's origins, people were genuinely eager to actually LEARN what it was all about....RTFM was the rule, not the exception.
It was a challenge to get your head around what was happening/involved....de-consructing a skin to see just how/why it worked, etc....particularly with shell themeing/coding.

From this 'eagerness' came the 'skinner'.
Now, we have a plethora of 'users' [not skinners] who have a quaint naive interpretation of what it is all about....and we are stuck with rude, asinine comments/demands on our energy/time.

Politeness is its own reward.

Common decency is not 'common' at all.

If you haven't got a civil tongue in your head towards people who were genuinely helping then in good old Aussie slang....
"Bugger off"...

actually me never RTFM I usually ran over to another machine to post a "Help me!" after I killed the one I was experimenting on. hehe
something like: Can someone please help me cuz I know I'm gonna to do this 3 more times so is there a quick fix on how to start litestep w/o RTFM?
and someone turned me onto "LiteStep enabler" to switch shells...
