This PC on Windows 8 Problem

Can anyone help me?

I have Windows 8. I have Windows Blinds 8.

When ever I download a skin from wincustomize I always have the same background texture when I go into my files ie; my documents, my pc, my downloads. Its a grey brick background no matter what new skin I apply. Everything else changes according to the skin that I have downloaded, but this grey brick background stays. The only way to get rid of it is to default back to the original Aero skin and then my files folders return to the customary white background. 

Have I defaulted something? I have checked all the sub sectors in Windows Blinds 8 ...Style, Colour, Texture and Background and I can't see what I'm doing wrong. 

This is so frustrating and i don't know how to solve this problem. I have uninstalled Windows Blinds 8 and have even deleted all of my save skins and themes, but as soon as I apply a new skin, back comes the brick wallpaper when I go into my files. 

I hope someone out there understands what I mean by the background wall of my files. I can't upload a file to attach to this post to show you what I mean. 

PLEASE HELP!!! I emailed stardock and they told me to reinstall Windows Blinds again. but this did not work.
