[Solved!] Fences vanished after reboot, icons scattered everywhere

Hi guys. I'm a paid user, Pro version. Had no problems for years. I recently rebooted and my feces are completely gone. The icons that used to be inside those fences are still there, however the fences themselves are missing. There's also no Fences right click menu on the desktop, nor is there an option to create a new one when I right click and drag a box. Launching "Fences Pro" from the start menu brings up the familiar window, and it acts as if the software is still installed, however I can find no evidence that it is launching at boot. Also, the config window that I can launch manually from the start menu, still shows my fence layout, it just isn't engaging it.

How can I force-launch the program so that the correct icon shows up in the system tray? (Actually, now that I think about it, I can't remember if it's even *supposed* to have a tray icon. You don't think about things much till they're broke :P )

Yes I've tried rebooting.

Thanks!

End of quote

No Shit?

Seriously though, what OS and by Fences Pro, are you referring to version one?

Fences Pro v1.1.0.419, Microsoft Windows [Version 6.1.7601] (Win7)

I got to the bottom of it. They vanished the reboot immediately after I foolishly followed the advise of a Flash update to try out Adobe Playpanel (aparrantly their version of a Steam system for flash games). I uninstalled every last trace of that (there were *many*) with Revo Uninstaller Pro and after a reboot, everything was back to normal.

So if that happens to any of you, now you know!

Just an FYI - This also happened to me. But I do not have Adobe Playpanel installed. I do have a ton of other Adobe programs installed and icons disappeared after the last time I updated Creative Cloud and a few of my Apps.
