I just want to know the purpose of the Dashboard Icon and how you can change the programs that come up when you click on the launcher icon. Also, what's the deal with the little clock and other non-functionable things on some dashboard backgrounds? Thanks!

Can someone tell me how to install the dashboards from this web site? I have windows xp pro with windowblindes.
Thank You."

Dashboard is for the Pocket PC operating system. However seeing that you have WinXP Pro and windowblinds you have alot of cool skins in the WB section of wincustomize to choose from.

I am not sure what you mean by Dashboard Icon? If you mean the eyes they create the o's in Snoopsoft. The clock or other images you speak of sound like they are meant as just that backgrounds or wall paper so that the desktop is less boring.

I have windows xp, an Ipaq w/dashboaed how do I get the skins into and change in my PDA
thanx Ron"

I believe most skin authors include a readme file with their skins I know that always include instructions with my skins. However for the dashboard skins to work they must be copied to the dashboard skins folder or a subdirectory in the skins folder. Usually creating a folder with the title of the skin is wise and prevents skins from conflicting with each other should they use the same name for some files. (\Program Files\Snoopsoft\Dashboard\skins this is the location for dashboard skins) if you use compaq dashboard this location may differ.

Hope that helps.

In the Today Page menu on the handheld, under items to be displayed, you need to check Dashboard so that it will work. Under General you also need to check "Allow skin to modify.." entry. You also need Wisbar installed for the wisbars with the skins to function. If the Dashboard skin has a theme file with it ( whatever.tsk), put it into the MyDocuments directory on the handheld so that the Start bar menu will skin.

I'm sorry SuzeLeslie I missed one of your Q's to change the programs on Dashboard launcher all you have to do is hold down your stylus a menu pops up with options to create new short cuts... or cut existing ones (delete) etc.
