That's kind of odd Doreen as it's worked here on all my Macs since the original OS X 10.0 release.

When your clock is in the dock, do you see the little 'triangle indicator' below it to indicate that it's running?

You might also want to check your Clock's preferences and verify that it is set to display "in the dock", which is normally the default setting.

That version is buggy. I would't use it, it's also much slower. That's why we didn't release it.
