I've never heard of Stardock refusing to make things right, when someone has overpaid. Recently someone had purchased a couple of things, and learned after the fact that he could have had the entire OD package for the same price........... you know what Stardock did? They set him up with OD, they didn't have to, it wasn't their fault the guy goofed. But being the "evil" corporation that they are, they made things right.
I'm sure your problem can be resolved civilly, if you're willing to be civil.

same way people triple post, they sit and click the button over and over until the page reloads.

People have been sued for what you are doing ][v][assive, no one is saying you don't have a claim, but there are ways of doing it that doesn't damage the reputation of a product or the business that makes it. If you made the purchase with a credit card, your credit card company can do more for you than stardock. How do you know that it isn't the creditcard company dragging their feet.

I would strongly suggest that you do not post this on any other site, and if you do I *hope* they sue you.

I was originally charge 39.90 for (2) copies of window blinds. Sent 4 emails and finally recieved an email back stating I would recieve a credit in 2-3 days. Well I checked and there was an additional 19.95 on my statement, so I thought they refunded it, then checked the balance and it was less than what I thought so I rechecked and they had subgmitted another 19.99 charge which means I paid 59.85 for a 19.95 program. Get it right the first damn time and people like me want be "uncivilized". What if I wouldn't have checked the payment, then I would have never known, and until the "few" of you begin to run off at the mouth, put yourself in my position! This post isn't for anyone who "has" purchased something from this site, it's for those who are thinking about it! Duh

If I were 'in your position', I would call my credit card company first, tell them that the other two charges were unauthorized, and have them straighten it out with Stardock. You don't have to pay for things you didn't buy. You, *do* have to be responsible for your claims, and you haven't made one reasonable statement that makes me believe this is Stardock's fault.

Now shut up. I think they oughtta removed this thread and ban ya if you make it again.

actually, it sounds like Stardock told your credit card company to delete the first two purchases, then redid it (the third time). If your credit card company hasn't replaced the money for the first two, how would it be Stardock's fault?

Yes, when your original posts states that stardock is "A SORRY ASS COMPANY!", then yes, we are going to delete it. Your lucky that I am leaving this one intact.

I have talked with sales about this situation, yes, you mistakenly ordered 2 copies. Which is why there was a double charge. We did apply a credit to your account (I have seen the reports myself showing one original charge for 2 copies and one Credit). All our records indicate the second transaction as a credit. But you claim your balance is less. But you have not verified from your bank yet as to why your account is less. You just say your account is less that what it was. Our sales personell suggested that you contact your bank to get verification on our transactions. Thats when you started your hissy fit.

So calm down. We are working with you. But throwing temper tantrums helps no one!

][v][assive: there's a lot of people who didn't think they could be sued for defamation on messageboards and newsgroups. ISPs have been forced by courts to give up the identities of people who make misleading comments that effected a company's sales. Read the news a bit more often. It is happening all the time.

People don't understand that they are speaking on a broadcast-quality venue, reaching thousands and thousands of viewers. If someone went on your local TV station and said "DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT" based on false statements, you would just assume they'd get sued. You just did the same thing, to a range of viewers far larger and far more targeted. You are standing *inside* their store, yelling at customers not to buy. lmao.

I once did the same when purchasing Cursor XP and one mail later I had my money back. Do You really think a company like Stardock betrays it's customers ? Today I got another fine example how Stardocks' employes take care of a 'normal customer'.(Special greetings to koop ). So Stardock is evil again ? NO WAY !

banking transactions are very expensive (specially between different countries or between America-Europe). I understand you received a 'credit' instead of a reimborsement. This is just. In addition, the Stardock and Wincustomize employees always acted in a professional way (i say this for experience), the persons that always post messages here, and someone that never post nothing here.
