Social Lobby

We really need a social lobby after entering into the Multiplayer Server list so that we can test the multiplayer appropriately. It's nearly impossible to play a multiplayer game and for obvious reasons, the single player AI is laughable. Aside from invisible ships after killing the top ship in the stack and the lack of tooltips on techs.. as well as no real tech advancement... it's not bad. It's what i'd expect from the alpha; to feel like Galciv2 without medium hulls or higher AND no ship builder.

 

We just need a way to test multiplayer, because i'll wait in a lobby for 3 hours without even knowing if anyone is logged into it or being able to chat with them to see if they're available to play and test multiplayer.

Also one other thing I would add. Sots 2 has a really nice chat feature, hit enter your in a chat with everyone else playing the game- single and multi (by default this is on but in options you can turn it off). There is in game chat and main chat (default is main). You got questions well you have tons of other players that can help you out.
