its a great idea elvee, i really like it, i need a new home page, some suggestions though, the center f ur site should be ur news area, but right now the center is that cool menu the menu rox by the way. But you might want to add some other little things, maybe a messege board or shout box. Thoughs are just my suggestions, if you need any help with it ill be more than happy to just give me a jingle [email protected]

If it makes you feel better JM...the menu buttons, the top left corner graphics and the dividers are part of free template i found(Man i wish i was that good!) , But the rest i did

Hi elvee, the designs is very good, and it's very fast (i don't know when your site are very popular if it will remain so fast ).

I have a some troubles about skinning information:
I'm a Windows customizer, and actually a KDE (Linux) icon creator too. I have a Mac with OSX installed on my desktop (and at work too).
I like to be informed about all of these desktops (Win, Linux, OSX). When i wish to see news and info about these desktops, i need to go to several different sites!
I will agree if you can post news on your home/access page, or a sidebar (as deviantart) with news. I will agree if the news can have news about all three mentioned desktops (Win, Linux, Mac)

Other issue that i have: i'm 'switching' of the desktops, to create icons/anything to them, and any time i need to find information about the new desktop. I will agree too if can be posted useful links (with tutotials and start info) about the different desktops It will be better if your site have this information without leaving skinmunity.

Anyway, great initiative and great job

Wow! Thanks Folks for the Feedback The content well be basic to start off with and in time i will add other features, like news, Thumbs, Possibly a shout box maybe, I'm not sure right now. This weekend the weather is supposed to be yukky my way so i will have time to start putting some links on, and as i said before it will be a combination of text and button links.

I will be searching links to anything that has to do with Desktop Customization, Skinning, Digital Art, Graphic Tutorials, Faq's, OS's and such. So if anyone now of any good links or want to submit Plugs (88x31 please) give me a shout mailto:[email protected]

I like the idea... it looks pretty cool.... I think it would be cool if decided to sell skinning software on your site... that way people don't have to go to the different companies... they can see everything... and chose what they like....

Looking good.....but as crae said a bit wide. I like to keep my browser window around 800 pixels wide, and I have to scroll right to see the entire page.

Hey Koasati, i am building my site with Homestead Site Builder , and one thing i wanted to do was to make the site resizable within IE browser, Do you or anyone else know of a script i can use or write to make this happen?

you'd have to set up some script to recognize the browser type and screen resolution, then have it call a different indexing (or other) page depending on the mentioned user's resolution. it looks like you have it set to total width not accounting for the scroll bar on the right. if you have a master table with the rest autosizing to 100%, you can just shrink the master by X pixels...say ten or so. Dunno, gotta look at your code, and I'm pro'lly least qualified around here to offer these suggestions, as I am learning too

i believe javascript does the screen resolution and browser type recognition easily, IF the visitor has javascript enabled...
