All icons "un-gridlocked" once uninstalled.

I am having some trouble here, I have tried out Fences, and when my trial ran out, I uninstalled it... When I did that, I was now able to move all of my desktop icons anywhere I want, it doesn't "lock" onto the screen. It is quite annoying since now I have a huge cluster on my desktop. There is no other way to say this, so here is an image:

Fences takes a snapshot of how your icons were before using Fences.

You have the option to restore that snapshot during the uninstall.

Oh, and right click the desktop, hover over "view", choose "align to grid".

What RedNeckDude said should work. You can also check to make sure auto-arrange icons is set in the right click context menu under View.
