Also can't move fence from "new" page back to original

Without intending to, or even knowing that it was possible, I moved a fence to a new page.  After reading up on the multi page facility, I was able to locate the missing fence, but I have not been able to drag it back to the original page where I want it.  I drag it to the left edge of the new page and hold it there per directions, but it does not then switch pages.  If I try to drag it accross, the fence just compresses and stays on the same page.  I tried the suggestion on one of the other posts to create a dummy text file ICON on the home page and then drag it to the new page, but this did not help.  I can drag this new ICON back and forth between pages, but the fence that was accidentally moved there still will not move back.  HELP!  (Win 7, Fences 2.12)
