Unable to install - Invalid start mode: archive filename

Today I reinstalled my Windows. I have made fresh (clean) Windows 8.1 installation.

Now I have fresh Windows installed + Firefox . I'm trying to install Start8 1.31 but all I see is: "Invalid start mode: archive filename"

For last year I had Start8 installed on Win8. Is this Win 8.1 issue?

It sounds like the install file you downloaded many be corrupt.

I would redownload and also clean up my temp directory.
