Suggestion: Two monitors to one monitor

Fence is great, but a two monitor setup to one monitor setup allways bugs me out as fences overlap (being put all on one monitor). I would like to see a solution where fence can create a temporary new desktop with desktop 2 content on it that you can slide in (and putting it back to two monitors when you switch back). That would be really great and would solve the two monitor - one monitor annoyance.

I second this motion!

We have a fleet of laptops that use docking bays for dual monitor setups at work, but they are frustrating to deal with when the user complains about this.  Only solution so far is to try and use fences on a single screen.  I'd like to see a workaround/solution for this.
