Icon Packager and Windows 8.1

I'm sure the response here will be that Icon Packager isn't yet compatible with Windows 8.1, but I just thought I'd report that it changes all icons except folders.

No matter what package I apply.

It also does not place the icons in their proper positions when applying a package. My libraries icon becomes a closed folder icon etc. There's others out of place also,  but suffice it to say IconPackager is going to need some updates.

Yep Iconpackager isn't working well at all.  Need to update the suites and windblinds skins also

End of Grayghost2348's quote

What needs changing in WindowBlinds skins for 8.1?

Nothing should have changed in the OS to require any changes at all in a WB skin.

I agree it was bad in win8 but now its ...well not better
and will not skin Folders in explorer anymore

live folders on the desktop needs to be created fresh then the data of the old folder needs to be copied into the new folder .
If you dare to rename that new folder to the old folders name before restarting it will flip right back to standart. :banhammer:

Also if the Folder is inside a Fence it will not change if you apply a iconpackage

And the live folders now will have the standart Windows Folder around the icon defined by iconpackager if there is a subfolder in that folder.
I would love to see an updatefor win8 finally.

hi guys.

the original post was that iconpackager worked under 8.1 here, but with one of my packages. i downloaded a random one where everything was customized and it didn't apply custom icons to the folders, which is funny considering the op said it did only those, on 2 downloaded packages it does most things *except* for folders...
