Problem with Windowblinds 8.01 + Visual Studio 2010 ( hitting 'd' causes the window to restore and maximize )

Hi all,

I was testing out the trial version of Windowblinds ( 8.01 ). While using Visual Studio 2010 and typing some text in its editor everytime I press the 'd' key the window restores and maximizes right away. Seems like pressing the 'd' key while using Windowblinds and Visual Studio together causes Windows key + 'd' to be fired twice or so I am guessing. Is there a way to fix that. I don't think I will buy the software if it doesn't work with my most used software. Any help ?

Cheers,

Are you sure your alt key is not stuck down?

Hey Neil,

So I have tracked this down to an extension called Visual Assist X for Visual Studio. If I disable it then this doesn't happen anymore. But this is hardly a fix since I am so used to this extension.

This also happens with VS2012 with the latest version of Visual Assist X and Windowblinds.

Thank you !

Hey,

So actually I can just disable skinning on the entire VS2012 IDE and then the problem goes away. I can live with that.

Cheers!
