Pesky Purchase Icons

I was using a Trial version of Fences.  After expiration I started receiving pop-up windows related to Trial version expired and Purchase Fences pop-up. Uninstalled Trial version and purchased Fences 2.0 and installed.  Now, can't use Fences and still keep getting Trial version expired pop-ups and Purchase Fences pop-ups. 

Unistalled and re-booted PC several times now before re-installing.  Keep having same issues.  Seems like even though i unistall and re-install it still doesn't recognize new version.

Anyone else have this issue?

What you might try is uninstall Fences again and run something like CCleaner to clean up left over stuff, clean out the registry also.  You can get a free version of CCleaner and it is easy to use.  Then reboot and reinstall Fences.  Hopefully that cleans things up for you.   :sun:

Have you actually entered your details in the unlock dialog provided?

If you're referring to the information requested in the "Unlock Previous Purchase" option, then, yes I have entered this information.  When I try to enter this information I keep getting Incorrect e-mail or password.

It is likely the activation process is being blocked by a firewall.

Please follow the steps at http://activate.stardock.com/ for manual activation.

If you run into trouble, please send us ([email protected]) the generated string or the text file (2240.txt) that was generated and we can try to resolve the issue.
