Black text on right side of menu

Is there a solution for the black text on the right side of the start menu? I have WindowBlinds installed with a dark theme and I can't even see the text. I'm currently using Start8 1.20. Any suggestions?

The text colour should be controlled by the theme itself.

There was an issue in Start8 where a very dark wallpaper could cause the right side to use black for the text, but this was resolved for 1.2.
