Multiple issues/bugs when taskbar is NOT located at the bottom of the screen

Hello,

First of all, I would like to thank all of Start8 & ModernMix development teams. Honestly, it really takes Windows 8 to another level. I wish MS made these features as part of OS, but that is a different story.

However, I ran into multiple issues with Start8, which seems to be caused by the fact that I do not have taskbar located at the default, bottom position of the screen. As I never got really comfortable with 16:9 displays and the loss of vertical space, I simply have taskbar located at the right border of the screen (NeXTSTEP, anyone?). For example:

1) Windows 8-style Start Menu works strangely, especially when the option "show list of all apps" is disabled.

2) If Charms bar is enabled on a desktop, I am unable to choose "Search" and "Share" choices and clicking Charms "Start" icon does not work.

I guess I will post other glitches when I run into them. I would really like Stardock to test Start8 with multiple locations of taskbar and iron these bugs out.

Thank you.

EDIT: Using Windows 8 64bit
