Change Language to English?

Hi

I have just downloaded Start 8 for a friend. They are in France, although English speaking. Windows 8 is in French, but they want to configure Start 8 to be in English.

Is this possible?

The language used by Start8 is the currently defined OS language.

So if you change the OS language to be English then Start8 should follow it.

As an alternative, if you delete the fr.lng file in the lang directory the Start8 Configuration screen will change to be English, but the menu itself will remain OS language.

Hi, thanks for a rapid response. But as stated the user wants to retain Windows 8 in French (for other French native speakers and Win8 experts in the family) but would like to configure Start 8 to be in English.

If language preference change is not available now perhaps on the wish list for the future.
