Win32k.sys BSOD error and now cursors will not change

I have a laptop with Intel 3000 and Nvidia GT555M GPU, Windows 64 home edition, with latest drivers

I installed and registered CursorFX Plus for the first time.

I chose a CursorFX theme without issues. But when I went to effect , chose smoke effect for double click and clicked Apply, I got a BSOD.

Error in file Win32k.sys

After reboot CursorFX refuses to change the Windows default cursor.

Only solution is to install the free version of CursorFX, but as a result I dont get any effects.

WindowsFX works flawlessly on that PC,

Any solutions?

tried it, didnt work.

cursors and effects appear on CursorFX Plus test screen, but they arent applied to Windows

probably Windows detected an incompatibility between Intel driver and CursorFX Plus effects and refuses to activate them.

because cursor appeared fine the first time before the crash.
