Upgrading from WB7 to WB8

Hi All,

I want to install WB8.

I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 and WB7.

Do I ?? 

1 De-install WB7 first using control panel?

2. Reboot.

3. Install WB8.

4. Reboot

This is correct??

There are a few ways you can do it. I had a large hard drive so I choose to partition the hard drive and install win8 on the partition and now I can use either. Windows 8 comes with a boot screen so when it starts it ask you which OS you want to use.

Check out this read and it will tell you about a clean install or an upgrade. There are a lot of very experience people on here that may have a specific solution for you.

Well thanks Dave but I'm not installing Windows 8 -

I just want to go from WindowBlinds 7 to WindowBlinds 8.

Start11 - Customize the Start Menu and Taskbar in Windows 10/11.

I backed up my skins before doing it, but it didn't turn out to be necessary.

I installed WB8 over WB7. No need to uninstall and it works great!

Correct. I backed up my skins as well...but didn't need to do that.

It's not required, but I always recommend backing up skins, and do an uninstall/reboot.
