Remote Desktop - Folder Portals do not work

I am on version 2.1. I'm considering buying but I am running into this when I rdp into my work computer:

I'd love for this to work but I am not going to buy something that isn't working. Can anyone tell me how to resolve this or if it has been resolved?

When I log off and back on, they completely disappear.
