the http://skins.stardock.com/austin22/dx/untitled.jpg pic doesnt work and can you HIGHLY COMPRESS THE FILES?!? DesktopX is like 7MB and A XPTHEME FILE IS 5 MB! THINK ABOUT THE DIALUP USERS: 3 HOUR LOADS

Three hours????

Only a 56k modem here and it is not a hassle, you can download sections of themes (I think? Or one could earlier) but the programmes are better to buy on CD, which suits me.

He' right, the pic is a pain to load, even on speed-connections. The jpg-format is there to save compressed files, right ?

2.25 Megs! Phew!
The funny thing is that this not a jpeg but a BMP with the JPG extension. It explains the file size. There is no way a jpeg that size could be 2.25 Megs, even saving it at the highest quality.

Try opening it in Photoshop, you'll see it won't work. Then rename it .BMP and try again, it works.

Hm, yes I thought about that possibility, but didn't proof it.

Maybe somebody thought it becomes a jpg just by renaming ?

(Sorry, couldn't resist, I do IT-support 25% of my work-time so I know such things and more...) Whoever feels guilty for that, don't take this too serious...
