why cant I still tame these guys? I think they should not be beasts if we cant tame them very misleading and not mentioned in the lore.
They are beasts, but they are magic-immune and Tame counts as a spell. Thus, Ophidians are immune to being tamed.
yes but I want to tame them - I don't think that tame should be considered magic either, though I do understand how OP beast master would be if they didn't syphon mana.
just had a thought- how about beast masters cant cast any spells - but they can learn summons for some beasts and tame. this would bring them back to earth.
