Remove Pinned "windows 8 menu" by default

I have a pc with multiple users and would like to have the pinned windows 8 menu removed by default for them, as well as for new users. How can this be done?

I believe you can add SetupLnk to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Stardock\Start8\Start8.ini\Start8 (value = 1) and the link will be gone.
