Portal Background and Filenames Black

When I create a new portal, the background is black and the filenames are also black (and so cannot be seen). I've tried playing with appearance and opacity, but while Fences will change the background color/opacity of the header background and its letters, it will not change the black in the box itself.

We have released 2.10 and that should address some of the issues.
