Bug in Start8 1.12 on Windows Server 2012: "Games" folder does not appear

In Start8 1.12 on Windows Server 2012, the "Games" folder does not appear on the right hand
side of the Start menu. Regardless of whether I choose "Display as a menu" or "Display as a link"
in the Start8 configuration. All other folders and links work correctly.
Instead of the "Games" folder, when I toggle the folder on either as a menu or as a link,
an empty "Desktop" folder appears on the right hand side.
This is a serious problem for me because I have several games that do not create a folder
or links in the main Programs menu. Those games would previously create a folder and links
in the "Games" folder in Start8 on Windows 8 - but in Windows Server 2012, I can no longer
access the Games folder, and instead I have to manually start those games by browsing
to the main executable file. This is a big inconvenience.

Gaming on Windows Server 2012......   Doesn't that make for a rather expensive 'gaming rig'?   o_O

I am not sure this is a Start8 issue.  It sounds more like Server 2012 lacks the games virtual folder as that's what Start8 points to.  If the OS lacks that then there is no folder to show.

Yes, but does it not sound like a Start8 issue when toggling on the Games folder,
adds an empty "Desktop" folder instead? Even if the OS lacks "Games" as a virtual folder,
can it not be fixed or added with Start8?
If Start8 can add a whole new start menu to Windows 8 and Server 2012 and even bypass Metro,
surely adding or fixing a non-existing virtual folder should be a trivial matter?
Maybe the developers should get together and discuss this issue.
