Is there some place where I can get some program to edit how my taskbar's icons load? (By the time) I hate when the sound icon isn't first, then Norton. I want it to be VOLUME, NORTON, Doesn't matter after here. -Greg

I assume you mean your systray, not taskbar.......but I don't know of anything to help you.....sorry

THIS IS NOT FOR COMPUTER NOVICES!!! be sure you know what you are doing BEFORE you do it.

you actually do not need a program for this. remove the programs that show an icon in your system tray from your start-up folder and the registry. load the programs with a script (a batchfile would be the most simple solution).

Startup Control Panel (freeware) by Mike Lin shows you which programs load at startup. it also has options for savely disabling programs for experimenting. http://www.mlin.net/StartupCPL.shtml

RunModule (Open Source) by AM Productions has some advanced scripting functions as delay. http://am-productions.yi.org/getprod.php?pcode=RunModule

be sure to read the docs of both programs at least 3 or 4 times until you understand them.

Thanks, I downloaded the Startup thing....I don't see where I can rearange how my taskbar looks. Like to make the VOLUME LOAD first, then Norton. Or does this program only change where the programs load? Thanks Again I learned A lOt! -Greg
