Here's Interesting Idea: Allow settings & configuration backups of simply their Start8 settings.

People like me who recommend & assist others with new PC setup would standardize on having my clients buy Start8 with any Windows 8 machine and I'd give them my preferred settings file, which can easily be imported.

 

Not to be a whiner, but I'm a little shocked that you don't yet have that in there, given how robust your application is and how nice your UI works.

The settings are all saved in the registry (other than pinned shortcuts which are files in the usual locations).

 

The location in the registry is HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Stardock\Start8
