Animate desktop not working

I built a new pc for a friend and he installed his Object Desktop, but when he tries to change to ANimate Desktop and click on Apply he gets an error that the WDM is not turned and can it try to start it. So I click yes but nothing happens. When I check in Services.msc, the WDM has been started ok but it still says it's Off.

Old Pc

Intel Dual Core

4GB ram

ATI Radion 6450 1GB

Win 7 64Bit

Object Desktop works fine.

New PC

Intel i5

8GB RAM

Radion 7850 2GB

Win 7 64Bit
