Download LogonXP from here: https://www.stardock.com/products/logonstudio/download.html

Then install it.

Next, return here and go to the 'Logons' section and pick out some logons that you like and install them, or make one of your own and install it....maybe even upload it to the site.

Ooops! I referred to it by it's original name. It is now called LogonStudio.

Does this work with XP Home only or can you cange the login for XP Pro as well? I ask because I have tried this before and could never get XP Pro to change the logon screen.

Ralph,

UIS files are WindowBlinds files, not Logon files.

C-Rat,

Yes, it works with XPPro. I use XPPro and I have no problems.

Motion....

You sure on the XP Pro thing? I just installed LogonStudio on a network connected XP Pro box (has ctrl-alt-del screen) and the logon screen does not change. It stays the default.

All the screenshots I've seen are either XP Home looking or XP Pro in a workgroup configuration.

LS doesn't work if you are on domain.

What Chef Garry said.

Yes, C-Rat, if your network is connected to a domain, you don't have a logon screen, but the little popup network window instead. I don't know why Microsoft made it that way, but that's the way it is. To have a logon screen, your network needs to be in a workgroup, not a domain.
