Start8 and Windows "Blue"

I know it is a leaked alpha copy, but was reading at Neowin about Windows "Blue." It is said that the explorer code (used by Stardock and others) to build a replacement start button in Windows 8, among other modifications will be removed with the "Blue" update. Are there any grounds to be concerned that the "tweaking" ability offered by Start8 (and indeed, by Decor8 and ModernMix) will be made nonfunctional with the "Blue" Windows 8 update?

I would be very surprised if Start8 were to be broken.

I'm sorry to say but in the in current partners build 9364 of Windows Blue does Start8 no longer works, but ModernMix works beautifully.

No longer works how?

It crashes or fails to install or?

I suspect whatever it is will not be too hard to fix.
