Boza Boza

I hate to say this...

I hate to say this...

I think it's a dumb thing to demand money for this stuff...

It's nasty!

Well.. I think a lot of the artist have bought some stardock stuff... so they don't really care. But those who have not! Those who have sent wallpapers and stuff and now have to pay for it!!!

without 'em, you'd be nothing! So keep it as it is, don't make any restrictions... Perhaps one restriction... (wallpapers:) You have to upload a wallpaper, get it confirmed by some artists <-- so this server won't be filled with crap!), for every 20 downloads of wallpapers you make...

else... I'm out'a here!

What really gives me a headache is that WinCustomize IS a free site for 99.9% of the users. And the 0.1% remaining are mostly either warez users or at best using unregistered shareware.

If the choice is to pick on the .1% of users that use a tenth of the bandwidth versus subjecting the other 99.9% of the users with pop up ads, banner ads galore, and extended down times, I think it makes sense to ask the 0.1% of users to give something back to the community. They have so many options.

Ahh Boza, once you open Pandorra's box; what comes out can not necessarily be controlled! Look how a bored evening so long ago turned into a message board marathon!

Yupp Frogboy, I agree.

Hm... don't I remember you from somewhere?

When did you start making windowsblind skins? I think I remember you from the time windowblinds was new. XP was not released. I had a 300MHz AMD machine... I tried windowblinds, but it just crashed my computer

Then a newer release came, and it worked! Then I started to download o lot of your skins from windowblinds skinpage. I even made a skin myself... a ugly looking one... then I moved on to a dual celeron machine... I installed w2k... it was new then, and worked like a champ! I've never used windowblinds since my 300MHz days...
