Title vs. User Level

Can anyone explain the difference to me?

Just for the heck of it (I wanted to see how badly I should feel for d/l'ing beatnick skinz and not having submitted any yet...they are very cool, as is the app btw), I was looking at my profile thingy, and now my title on the first line is "Apprentice", but my User Level is still a "2". The User Level was a 2 when I first came onboard, so again I am wondering if it signifies anything?

Just curious, I don't give a flyin' rat fart if it is my popularity level or anything...just wondering the definitions...

If you buy the Object Desktop then your user level will be 3 and if you buy skin browser too, then it will be 4.
It is a matter of money

I just bought the skin browser, so I'am a level 4. I think it is more accurate to say that if you subscribe to WC then you get the skinbrowser which makes you a level 4.

cool...I was a "Citizen" until I noticed that "Apprentice" title the other day...just wondering what it signified since it didn't appear related to the numbering convention. Maybe it is just a title...

/me wonders if someone will bestow JarHead on him!!!

Its a bit odd that there are a number of skinners out there called citizens, and a number who dont skin at all called skinners. There must be some logic to it somewhere. Much easier not to have a title at all...

There is a drop down box in "edit preferences" which gives you the ability to change your title. The other designations are "classes" that you can be placed in depending on a number of things. Here is a link that tells more: https://www.wincustomize.com/index.asp?Cmd=about#rank
