log on screens

This might be a stupid question but.. Where is the option in xp pro to change the log on screen? Or is it a program that i have to download? Also, you know how in win 98 you can go into the "windows" folder and change the bitmap image labled as "winlogo"? Is there a similar thing in xp pro, so that I don't have to watch that progress bar and black screen?

The logon screen can be changed with this, it's free:
