Google Chrome Support

I like the purpose of this app but it simply does not work with google chrome in metro windowed mode. I have restarted my system and it works as soon as I open it, but as soon as I switch to any other application the screen goes gray and I am no longer able to click on anything inside the browser. Not sure if I am doing something wrong or if support for this application is not yet available in beta.

We will take a look into that.

It may be because chrome isn't a true metro application, but it could also be due to a bug as MM is still in beta.

Are you talking about Google Chrome (Desktop app) or Google Search (Modern app)?

i=I'm pretty sure it is a true windows  app, as it can be pinned 1/3 the side, and run along side other metro apps without the desktop interface, it doesn't just pretend to be full-screen or anything..

on a side-note; why not just run chrome in window mode? it has an option under the 3 blue lines (formerly the wrench menu)

Or are there actually some benefits from running it in metro, that your hoping to keep?

End of Bloody_T1's quote

None of the "metro" webbrowsers are true Metro apps.  They are allowed to use WinRT and Win32 apis and are officially "Metro style enabled desktop browsers".
