Transparent Windows (XP)

I was able to acomplish getting varying degrees of transparency of open windows once before but I am baffled as to how I did it. Can anyone help me find this feature in XP? Or did I happen across a utility that helped?

With WindowBlinds you can make your window semi-tranparent, And FX which you can do alot of neat Transparncy stuff. both programs are avalible here

Hold on, hold on, hold on...you can make semi-transparent windows on WindowBlinds? Really? How? HOOOOOW???

In display properties under the apperance tab: click WindowBlinds button. go to settings and click advanced button. Then check "make explorer background semi-transparent then apply changes

Also, I believe your folder have to be set to classic mode in you Folder Options.
