Right click, Send To

Hi. Start8 is a great program, however one feature that I used to use a lot in Win7 which is missing in Start8, is being able to Right click on a program and "Send To" to the Desktop, to create an icon on the Desktop.

 

That was how I used to create icons on my Desktop.

 

I used it all the time, but can't seem to do that with Start8.

 

I recently downloaded the FREE IObitStartMenu8 program, and it DOES have the feature, so it is possible. I would hate to leave Start8 that I have paid for, to go to IOBit's version, but I really need the above feature.

 

Any word on that?

As a workaround you can drag a shortcut to the desktop from the start menu very easily in Start8.

Just hold down ctrl (or it does a move) and drag what you want to the desktop.

We will also see about adding in that menu for the next update.
