Semitransparent

I guess this is a feature request. Can there be an option for a semitransparent taskbar like standard windows 7 (and 8) when the taskbar is perfectly clear it's hard to read the text.

The default Windows 8 taskbar is semi transparent.  Start8 also allows you to set it to be solid.

Are you thinking of the blur that Windows 7 had?

yes, and windows 8 is the same way. If you set transparency on with start8 it's fully transparent, there is no "semi" about it

Start8 doesn't have a transparency on feature, it has a transparency off one.

When off is not set it should be the same as without Start8.

Are you able to provide a screenshot showing what you are seeing please?
