Notification Area tool tips problem

Since installing Start8, I have a tool tip/notification from the system tray popping up every few seconds or so and then disappearing too quickly to be read?  I have tried to find out what it is referencing but am unable to find the source.  Anyone having a similar issue and anyone able to advise how I would be able to find out what it is for and how to stop it from just disappearing in the future?  Cheers in advance.

I have another problem with the system tray notifications (actually, two problems). 

Firstly, whenever I mouseover the 'overflow' arrow for the notifications, it automatically pops up the overflow window - incredibly annoying and I would love to stop this so that it only pops up when I click the arrow.  Secondly, when the overflow window is open, when I mouseover one of the icons in the window, the tooltip is shown underneath the window, so is unreadable - again, very annoying !

Can anyone help me rectify this, please ?!?
