Pointer Options get changed

Since version 2 I am having an issue with my mouse setting getting changed on the primary computer (desktop) when I move the mouse to the secondary (laptop). When I bring the mouse back to the primary, the pointer speed gets set at the default and the Enhance pointer precision gets unchecked. These are the first 2 items on the Pointer Options tab of Mouse Properties. This did not happen with previous versions. Both computers have the same mouse settings and interestingly the secondary mouse settings are not changed. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

I'm having the same issue with version 3.01 with two computers running Win 7 x64.
