The new web blinds works great now!

I just wanted to say that the new version of web blinds works great. I hadn't been using it (but I really wanted to for the popup control) because it blocked the popup message reply boxes elsewhere. They work fine now. Also it was a little unstable previously, but it seems a lot better now. Seems you ironed out all the problems... errrr.... except maybe the scrollbar doesn't skin.

Good job!

Thanks very much!

I'd actually gone back to the old shareware version some time ago since that didn't crash and I could use it. But I tried the latest version on OD and hey, so far so good. Thanks.

Sigh.... I spoke too soon. It still doesn't let the messages open on the message board elsewhere. (after I rebooted) That is kind of a major thing for me. I don't have time to play with it for now. ah well....

It's probably just blocking popups by blocking script, thus interfering with some functions you may want for other purposes. (Some people block popups through a combination of disabling scripting in their browser and using a hosts file to block advertising sites/domains.)

I don't have the program in front of me right now and don't use that function so don't know if there is an exclusion list to which you could add sites whose functionality is hampered. I 'spose you could also raise the issue in the support ng and/or email support and see if you get a response or suggestion from a stardockian.

Hi sig101. Actually, the program has a function where you can disable the popup disabling by holding the control key, but I cant get that to work for me. I think, maybe, if I could take more time. Thanks for mentioning the hosts file, though. I used that before with success, and I think I will look it up and apply it again. I had forgotten.
