Latest Stardock Survey

Most of Stardocks software has been briliant especialy the game's Sins of a solar empire. HOWEVER the latest survey sugests that stardock wants to move to other platforms aswell which i couldnt realy care about unless they do the same mistake that most game developers do. Lets take Gas Powered Games for example And its game Supreme Commander. supCom and SupCom:Forged Alliance, those 2 games made me speechless so i was excited as hell when i saw SupCom 2 comeing out. But it turned out to be one giant disapointment, why you ask? Because SupCom 2 was a console game ported to PC.

SupCom:FA had huge maps that made even a gaming CPU cry for mercy with all its complexety and physics. But SupCom 2 was absolutely lobotomised compared to Supcom:FA. Graphics suffered, map size suffered, physics suffered, the quality that made SupCom:FA great was sacrificed just so that the game title was able to run on a weak console. Next gen consoles are around the corner but within a few month they will be underpowered compared to PCs.

So when i saw this survey with OX, Android(which is awesome for phones), xbox, playstation and other crap listed. No just no, it would be murder to create a new SinS title for those "next gen" consoles and port it to pc. And what was even worse, you couldnt complete the survey without choseing one of those quality butchering options because im not interested in any platform thats weaker than a PC.
