"new folder" crash from Win 7 to windows 8 start screen

Installed the full suite of programs yesterday after upgrading from the Start8 trial. Now in file explorer when I click on new folder it closes all and take me out of the Win 7 style Start screen and to the new Win 8 screen, and doesn't allow me to create the new folder (which I still haven't figured out how to find under the new system--was using "my computer" under the start 8 option). Why is trying to create a new folder bouncing me out of the Win 7 style start and not allowing me to complete the operation. If it helps, the first few times it happened the Fences configuration screen appeared until I actually configured Fences.

It sounds like you may have installed DeskScapes 3 on Windows 8.

If you uninstall that and reboot you should be fine.

The Windows 8 compatible version of DeskScapes is due to be released in beta form this week.
