Game crash

What!

My sins of solar empires rebellion edition crashes on steam... It say my mini dump crashed? This isn't cool everything's updated using dell XPS 4.1 Ghz .. NVIDIA GeForce GT 555M hasn't flailed me yet what's going on?

We need more details. Is this in game, when trying to start the game, is this your first time running the game etc.

Um when I just start the game up screen goes black.. And it says my mindump failure that's it.. I went to Grfource driver update sight says my drivers arnt updated pay 30$ but Im not paying because my laptop says my drivers are updated.. when I go through Dell

Try checking your video drivers on steam.

Okay. then try right clicking on Sins, hit properties, then go to local files, and click the Verify Integrity of Game Cache button.

If that doesn't find any installation problems, also try going to your steamapp folder and find the "Sins of a Solar Empire Rebellion Dev.exe" file. Run that and see if it works or if you get any error messages.

K it says on intaggration Says that 1 files failed to validate and will be reacquired. ?

Well I got it to work....  Went to steam went to brows files .. went sins of solar empire rebellion DEV 

and it works.. Just not when I tell it to run through steam or desktop icon..

Yeah, I've heard other people say that as well. I'm guessing it might be because the Dev is always in windowed mode, so it might be a resolution problem. But at least you can play it now.

When I run Rebellion in DEV .. And I try full screen 1920x1080 the game dosnt run..

thought of that to ... Iv been playing painfully for 4 hours  man is the titan swee

 

5 hours.. struggle to keep Allie alive scrambling everything!! Max capital ships holdwork galactic dominance dosnt feel like 140 planets.... Must be other galaxy..

I'm not very mod savvy and I've been struggling with mods and sins of a solar empire lately. I downloaded and wanted to play the stargate invasion mod and everything works fine until I go to start a match and then the loading screen comes up and it shows the "saved minidump" message.

 

Any help would be awesome.

If you just tried the mod you might have to wait a little while, the 1.5 patch has broken all major mods and they needed to be updated before they work again. Otherwise as always make sure you read any installation instructions on the mod thread/website/readme carefully.

I just wasn't sure if I'm the only one it happened to because I've seen all these screenshots and videos of the gameplay and I'm like, "wtf why isn't mine working".

 

I guess I'll just have to wait, thank you for the help!
