Games wont launch

New system - reinstalled Gamestop Appw hich SOASE runs through. Download games - all ok. Go to play them and am asked for Stardock Account Registration iformation. enter all the data... no joy. Game wont launch.

 

Check help - check connection - all fine.

 

Then in the error log notice this statement:

 

"You must go through the GameStop account conversion process before logging in."

 

Whizz over to Gamestop and seek some help only to find a poster over there with exactly the same problem who is told that this is a stardock registration problem and to contact them as there is no error with Gamestop.

 

So... what's it to be? A Stardock or a Gamestop problem? I couldnt care two hoots as to why there seems to be such a disconnect between these 2 platforms (from the number of posts related to it anyway) but I have paid for a game and 2 expansions and I want to be able to play them.

 

Help?

If you're running on Windows 8 and registration is hanging when you submit, download this file.

Extract the contents to the folder the game is installed in and overwrite any existing files. You should then be able to complete the registration process.
