GOT TIRED OF "SERVER BUSY" ? JUST GO AROUND IT !!!!! ITS TOO EASY !!!!!

for example wanna donload Cursor XP Cold Metal

you click on Download then you got the message Server busy

no thats wrong

just type https://www.wincustomize.com/library/accounts/dron/cursorxp/coldmetal.zip

then the server isn't too busy to provide the download
hm a little funny

to go to other download when the server is too busy
just type in your address bar:

**does not change**

https://www.wincustomize.com/library/accounts/authorname/cathegory/filename.extension (extension= zip,exe,jpg,bmp,...)

note that in my case the real authorname was Dron! and i had to remove the special chars like !, ?, etc...

What an idiot. Why don't you spend your time enjoying the site and stop with the bullshit. Sometimes the site is slow, sometimes fast, sometimes there is probably even a "server busy" message (although I have not seen it). As long as you are not paying anything for it you are losing nothing. I am paying for it as a subscriber and sometimes even have to deal with a little bit of slowness - such is life. You are spreading paranoid theories which are a waste of time.

I agree with bmetelsky. Once I saw how valuable the site was I subscribed immediately. Not much money either, very reasonable too. I think we ALL should support the site because it is valuable and fun...

ummmmm.... we all seem to get Server Busy pages. I know I paid so I think you're theory about what they might be doing need more evidence. I aslo comment on peoples work, submit news, be on the message board from time to time helping others, so even if I didn't pay I would still have unlimited downloads.

I still get the Server Busy or other don't get on the site stuff.

So if it is busy then just wait it out. This is not a normal site. High downloads of things that are anywhere between 12kb to 8mb This is not CNET or MSN or AOL. Notice all those places definately get money for any of thier services.

The thing about Wincustomize is that it is more than just skins and Icons. It is a community of people! And some of us have big, kind hearts and minds that are full of years of experience and skill.... all that can get kind of big and bulky... sometimes we do take a long time to absorb. Even for the best IP!

And lookie! I even got a pretty bauble to put in my message....

Did you stop to think that while you were typing in the address, the server load decreased a bit.
But the bottom line should be if you don't like it here......don't want to contribute........just go elsewhere.......
There are other sites, most have the popups, and ads you seem to desire. If you really like popups so much, (you mentioned this is your other thread) then try skinz.org
