Latest Litestep Build...where to get it?

As the message says, where can I get the latest Litestep build? I'm guessing www.litestep.com, but thing is, I downloaded Litestep from there and installed it, and it still won't run some Litestep installations for me.

Also, where can I get rainmeter.dll and the other .dll files I need?

You can find most everythign starting at shellfront:

LS in is kind of a state of flux, and because they are converting to a theme standard, a lot of older themes won't work without tweaking. Best thing to do is roll a simple one yourself, getting a feel for the theme standard, and then you'll be set to make any theme you choose cozy on your system.

If you have any futhur trouble, just ask away.

I found the .dll files I need, but where in that page is the latest LS build? There's WAY too much stuff in there.

just remember when you say 'latest' you aren't necessarily choosing the most stable build, ...beyond here, there be dragons

Oh.

So, let me rephrase. Where can I get the MOST STABLE LiteStep build?

And how about a big LiteStep logo? I want to make a startup/shutdown LS screen, but I can only find a small LiteStep icon, and I want a big one.

Ugh, i'd be afraid to say. If Jafo wanders through I'm sure he could tell you exactly which one works best for him, i'm on a Talisman skinning break from LS. I'd be tempted to tell you Oct. 1999, lol. If you poke around here and at deskmod and deviantart, many of the themes will mention what build they used inthe comments. Get a good sample and see what the average is.

I *think* there are some pre-made litestep boot screens at deviantart, too. You been to Floach?

I bet there are some graphics floating around there or on a linked page. There's always Google image search

I'm using the May 30 2002 Indie Build and it's pretty 'stable'....I push it beyond what most newbies would be likely to..now and then it gets wobbly....but provided you have ShellON as a shell manager you won't have any 'terminal' dramas...
If you want a 'large' graphic...back in the days of the 'Scorpion' Logo...I have one...not mine to upload, though, but I could email it...
