Start8 1.1 seems to change power settings

I have just upgraded to Start8 1.1 and it seems to override the general Windows 8 power options, sending the PC to the lock and login screen after only about 3 minutes of idle time. This definitely did not happen with version 1.03 and once I uninstalled Start8 the normal power settings resumed again.

Is there a new power-related option in version 1.1. that I am missing?

For the record, my power options stayed the same after upgrading to v1.1. No problem here.

Could it be something else you installed?

Start8 should not be able to affect power settings.  Has anything else changed recently?

I don't think so, but I will double-check to be sure. I will also re-install again rather than upgrade, just to see if that makes a difference.

This is certainly not normal or expected and I am unaware of any other reports so it is probably unrelated to Start8.
