Server Too Busy! ALL THE TIME!

Everytime i try to get ANYTHING off this site the sever is too busy. It doenst matter what time of day or where I am. IT is ALWAYS TOO BUSY. ANd the part the say about subscribe and get better service is a crock! I did and it still is always BUSY

Hmm, I am a subscriber and I never have any problems. It is a little on the slow side sometimes, but it is never too busy. They are, however, in the process of upgrading things, so everyone should see an improvement soon.

Dunno, I'm a subsciber/Stardock customer and I don't recall seeing that message recently. Although at times the site has been quite slow (when it wasn't offline, that is).

On the other hand....

Too busy = lots of traffic
lots of traffic = more subscibers
more subscribers = more revenue
more revenue = more bandwidth & better servers
more bandwidth & better servers = less times we see that message.

Now that's a nice equation.

What I would like to know is: Where are my downloads going. They seem to open very quickly and then there is no sign of them on my computer.

I think I know what you are referring to. That happens to me too when downloading WindowBlind skin files (.wba) They are actually in a Temp file. What I do now, is I right click the item I want to download and then select "Save Target As" and then save it to my designated downloads folder. (in my case I created a folder on my C drive called Downloads.

If you used a different email address when you purcahsed the Subscription then Wincustomize does not know that you have the subscription. If this is the case then you need to cross reference your WinCustomize account with your Stardock Account that you purchased the subscription with. Just go into Edit Account and chose the Cross Reference link.
